Have you ever dreamt about something so big that it scares you? Have you ever felt overwhelmed by the depths your mind can go to? Have you ever been discouraged because someone says your dream is too big to realize?

The world today demotivates the creative people who dare to live against the norms that the society dictates. The latter pressurizes you to have a ‘safe way out’ along with your passion so that any failure doesn’t hit you as hard. But why is there such a taboo around failure? Why should you have an easy way out? Why aren’t dreams enough?

The truth is that dreams are more than enough. Sure they may sound scary when they are just a thought in your mind and you have no way of going about. But it is also when the passion is its most intense. The only thing to remember is that it is not necessary to know all the steps you need to take to reach your dream. No successful person has ever known what to do and what not to do to reach their goal. They just let the passion fuel their way to reach their dreams.

Start with baby steps. Go to your library to invest your time in research or start learning a new skill online. Once you take a few baby steps, you are ready to take a leap of faith and take a drastic measure. Leave your job to focus on your dream business or spend all your savings on the development of a product. Sure there is the stigma of failure but it is once you get your first client, your first sale, your first appreciation that all of this makes sense and all the sacrifices seems worth it.

So why live for someone else’s dream when you can live for your own. A little courage is all you need to get started.
