The ultay seeday loag
There are many things that I am and I am not, but one that I am (and very proud of) is being a side sleeper. Ah, the comfort of curling up to your pillow and having a long, peaceful sleep. I can’t imagine sleeping in any other position. But there are people who sleep differently and it makes me think, kon hai ye loag, kaha say atay hai? So here’s what I think such people are like:
The ultay loag, aka Stomach Sleepers
Stomach sleepers clearly have not watched enough scary movies. I mean are they not terrified of suffocating themselves with the pillow in front of their mouth. Such sleepers probably have hectic work routines and busy social lives. No wonder why they are so tired when they come home that they collapse on their beds and sleep like they’ve been putting up all-nighters like college students near exam season.
I am assuming such people have bad backaches as well. How can you sleep on your stomach and not damage your spine? Either they have perfect health and are immune to sleeping in such a manner or they are overdosing on good old Panadol.
The seedhay loag, aka Back Sleepers
Back sleepers probably have their life all figured out. You know the ‘perfect’ cousins your parents compare you to, high chances are that they are back sleepers as well. The latter wakes up at six in the morning, does yoga and have their clothes organized from material to colors to what not.
Back sleepers are loud snorers and that is not just being said by me but proven by science. The back of the tongue blocks the airway when a person is sleeping on their back which hinders their breathing and causes them to snore frequently and loudly.
The Final Conclusion
Obviously, there are exceptions but how you sleep definitely depicts some of your personality traits. So what’s your sleeping pattern and how apt was I in describing your behavior?
